If you are not on the list, or if you want me to add your non-hawaii.edu e-mail address (google, yahoo. etc.) send me your request to the following address.

After you send a request, you'll receive an e-mail confirming your e-mail address. There's a link to that e-mail. You have to click on the link to confirm your address. After this, a request e-mail will be send to me, and I'll add you to the mailing list.
Even though you can send e-mail from this mailing list home page, don't use this to send your e-mail. It's because Japanese characters often show up incorrectly unless you change the character encoding to "UTF-8". Use UH Webmail or independent e-mail applications, such as Thunderbird, etc. instead.
When you send an e-mail to the course mailing list, you'll receive the e-mail of your own so that you know the e-mail was received by the mailing list. But if you use Google (including UH Google mail), you can't receive your own copy from the mailing list. This is how Google set up the gmail. Unless Google change this setup, nothing can be done about this. Those who use Google, will receive a short acknowledgment e-mail that your e-mail was received by the mailing list.
