Aug.	23 (M)		In order to use the Interactive page, you have to use the user ID and password assigned to you. These are different from your UH ID and password. Your user name is "last name " + "." + "firstname initial". Your password is your student ID number. For further information, go here. Send self-intro to the mailing list. Work on this "Class rule knowledge confirmation Quiz" (You need to know the user ID descried above) Be familiar with all of the information on this site. Especially, you have to know the class rules. Fill out this information page. Read how to type in Japanese: Here. and work on Typing Exercise 1 (You can submit the above exercise more than once.)
			You send all of your correspondenses to the course mailing list. But you must be a member of the mailing list to be able to send e-mails.
	24 (T)	Send iVisit self-intro file. See right column.	Typing Exercise 2, カタカナ Type Ex. 1, Download iVisit Classic from here and use your web camera to record your self-introduction and send the file to the mailing list. Your iVisit file name should include your name, so it should be something like "john_doe_selfintro".
	You can submit all of the exercises above more than once. The main purpose is to get used to typing Japanese and the online style of submission.
	25 (W)		Sentence Type Ex. 01, (You can submit these exercises more than once.) Virtual Online Conversation Practice 1.
	Additional Typing Exercises: Exercise 3, Exercise 4,Exercise 5, カナ Type Ex 2, Sentence Type Ex. 02, Sentence Type Ex. 3. We'll use the virtual online conversation system quit often. Make sure you have the latest flash plug-in installed. Be sure to practice and get used to this. There are many guides once you click on the link above.
	26 (Th)	1A: tb.p.161 練習 Practice	Virtual Online Conversation Practice 2. Download this and review verbs from Japanese 101. We'll have a verb review quiz. You'll have a Verb Conjugation Quiz. This is a practice quiz. You can take this more than once. The result of this practice quiz will not affect your grade.
	For the recording "1A: tb.p.161 練習 Practice," go to the textbook 1A (used in Japanese 101) page 161, you find the "練習 Practice" at the bottom of this page. Use this tb.161 in case you cannot find 1A. Read the three sentences there in Japanese and also read the English meaning. Put your name and exercise name in the subject of your e-mail.(something like "yourname_tb161") Also Nname your iVisit file as "yourname_161" so that I can easily tell whose e-mail/file it is.
	27 (F)	1A: tb.p.205 練習 Practice	Verb Conjugation Review Quiz. You can submit the quiz only once.	Here.
	Use this tb.205 in case you cannot find 1A. Be sure to put your name and exercise name in the subject of your e-mail. name your iVisit file as "yourname_205" so that I can easily tell whose e-mail/file it is. We'll have online kanji quiz for each chapter. Use the above to practice. The practice is the view of 101 kanji. You pronounce the kanji and say the English meaning. You can submit this as many as you want. This quiz will be accessible at 3 PM for 48 hours. Quizzes are only accessible during the designated time (Monday - Thursday: Online Quiz/Assignments are accessible starting at 3 PM for 24 hour. Friday: Online Quiz/Assignments are accessible starting at 3 PM for 48 hour.). You can access exercises any time but it stores your answers only during the designated time. Your answers are stored fine if you get this message after you send your answers.
